SKYBAY Education originated with classes focused on Molecular Science. These classes stress understanding the nature of the physical and biological worlds at the molecular level. The World Around Us DAYS AND DATES:  Wednesdays, Sept 16 - Dec 2, 2009 in Thousand Oaks (No class Nov 11 and Nov 25 ) TIME: 3:15 pm to 4:15 pm WHERE: Pandora's Paintbox, Newbury Park AGES: 8-15 This is the original program created by Dr. Steve, which has been evolving over the past 6 years. And, yes, evolution is good! It includes two 10-week classes (once a week) called The Molecular World and Life Molecules. The program gives kids an edge in understanding the molecular world. They will mix chemicals, build models, isolate DNA and learn the foundation of DNA forensics as they analyze the molecules of the universe and life. Molecular Mania! is a highly visual, interactive experience for kids. Equal parts lecture, videos, hands-on modeling, and experimentation, this program is all parts awesome. The mysteries of nature will never be the same! California Science Standards are covertly woven throughout the curricula. Small classes (average 12 students) provide individual attention. Classes are taught at different venues in the county and the fee is $200/10-week session. Registration is now closed.
