SKYBAY Education was founded by a scientist to help future scientists. Steve Yoshinaga received his Ph.D. in Molecular Biology from UCLA and was a postdoctoral research fellow at UC San Francisco. Dr. Steve worked at an eminent biotechnology company where he led a successful project team in the development of an immune cell modulator. He has published his research in some of the best journals in the world. During his research years, he regularly visualized the cellular processes he studied. This visual inclination inspired him to help youngsters understand the molecular world, so that they can also visualize the wonders within our cells. He has been teaching molecular science to young students for the past five years, using a combination of discussion, videos, modeling, and experimentation. For these classes, Dr. Steve developed molecular and DNA modeling systems. The models provide kids with hands-on experiences in this marvelous molecular world. |
